I am a passionate local guide in Lisbon who would love to get to know you. Let’s make the most of your time in the city and create great memories together, book a tour!
A little more about Ana
Local certified guide in Lisbon since 2014 and a mother to two beautiful children.
My job provided me with the opportunity to travel a little, and after a trip to Southeast Asia in 2018 I’ve been trying to live life in a more environment-friendly/sustainable way. I also realized that tourism has a HUGE impact in a community, city or country which can be good or bad. On this blog I will be sharing some information (from personal readings) about these many different fields of impact, as well as some suggestions that might seem small, but can make a huge difference.
Be the change...
My mission
Quoting Joseph Ranseth, I am starting my path to “Be the change you want to see in the world”, and therefore decided to make my tours more sustainable for the environment and the local population by:
Excluding single-use water bottles
Buying online tickets
Including environmental and wildlife education in my tour offers
Including less popular but equally significant monuments in my tours
Apply carbon offsetting policies to fund environment protection
Provide electric transportation solutions (available for up to 3 people only).
So, I’m popping the question: Do you want your visit to Lisbon to have a positive impact for locals and the environment?
